On my 10 hour flight back from England, I was the lucky recipient of a messed up TV. NICE!!

Just got back from a trade show at QBP in Minnesota. It went well. However, a BIG snowstorm came through on Sunday which caused all flights to be cancelled. I ended up sleeping at the airport, which was a first for me. I didn’t really mind actually since I had a buddy with me, but I’m in no hurry to attend airport camp again.
Sooooo… I’m running this Incase perforated case on my iPhone, which I’ve had for a few years now. Today, I was messing around with it and made the interesting discovery that if I put the case on upside down (so the actual camera hole cutout is on the opposite side of the phone), one of the smaller perforated holes lines up semi-exactly over the camera and creates this vignette effect. Happy Accident. It’s a very hard vignette effect, but still cool nonetheless.
Here’s a random shot of a cat to show what I mean.
Today, I got up and rolled into work like any other day… except there was no power when I got there. No lights, phones, nothing. Apparently our whole business complex area was down. After sitting around for about 2 1/2 hours with everyone, it was decided that everyone should take off (especially since the crews working on this had no idea when power would be restored). Sweet.
So, I took off and ended up running a few errands. On my way home, I passed the above crew riding near the beach, so I pulled over to say what’s up and chilled for a bit.
Left to Right – Chris Long, Brian Hunt choking Catfish, Mike taylor, Russ Barone and dude from Long Island in the back whose name I can’t remember.
With so many people in Long Beach this year, this is probably gonna be fairly common.
Unfortunately, my local music store (Fingerprints) is moving. Fortunately, it’s going to stay in Long Beach, but not within walking distance anymore.
Ultimately, not the worst thing in the world, but still sad to see them go.
