Came across this wild contraption in an even wilder store that sells used cameras and bikes.

Have a seat.

While in Mexico for the Elevation comp last year, a bunch of us walked around town and came across these rad (bronze?) sculpture benches. These things were amazing. I like the bird on top of dudes head.

R. Fudger

Ryan Fudger celebrated his birthday this weekend, so Happy Birthday goes out to him.

Here he is in the middle of acquiring footage for Range of Motion. That’s Francis on camera duty.

Stealth Bomber House

This is the craziest house I’ve ever seen. I don’t know what else to say. Even though it doesn’t look exactly like a stealth bomber, it was the first thing I thought when I saw it. Click below for some other views.

This photo of Rob Wise and Tony Neyer was taken in the vert ramp athlete lounge at the X-Games. Unlike the other athlete lounge, this one had no windows, less food and seemed a bit like you were in a holding cell.

At first, Francis and I rolled in and made the best of it. We washed up, sat and drank some stuff. Then Kevin Robinson came in while Francis was making a chair pyramid and the mood got serious (after all, Kevin was there to compete in vert). Then, Rob Wise and Tony Neyer rolled in and we all commented on how weird the lounge was.

Fast forward a couple of minutes and I decide that I need to take a pic. At first I just took a portrait of Rob and Tony, then one of them suggested that they should re-create the image behind them (which I think is David Beckam) by jumping. It was a good idea.

Check out more of my X-Games pics on Defgrip.

I kind of expected San Francisco to be full of art and random stuff like this. I was not disappointed.

This is also the new index in case you are only linked to the blog.

How many bars do you have?

Dipped out to San Fran. Did lots of walking and got a decent feel for the place. Stoked on the colorful homes.

Ground Control

The first thing that popped into my head when I first saw this pic, was Space Oddity (Ground Control to Major Tom) by David Bowie. The brain works in a most peculiar way.

Wax Buildup

Considering that Greyboy is a DJ, it makes sense that his place is full of records. Sometimes they are more visible than others.

No matter what, records always look cool.
